About OKKU TV and Onbeş Kasım Cyprus University
Onbeş Kasım Cyprus University (OKKU) was established in 2014 and started to educate in 2018-2019 academic year. OKKU became one of the most popular universities in Northern Cyprus in a short period of time with its various academic programs and modern facilities. OKKU TV, founded in 2009, is a bridge between the university and the public, broadcasting cultural, educational and news programs.
Milestones:
- 2009: OKKU TV founded.
- 2010: Started satellite broadcasting via Türksat.
- 2018-2019: University’s first academic year.
- 2021-2022: First graduates and highest enrollment.
- 2022-2023: 5 faculties, 14 Bachelor’s programs, 3 Master’s programs, 1 Doctoral program.
